WATCH: Alina Habba Stuns with Incredible, Beautiful Speech about Trump

Though it was former President Donald Trump’s speech at the RNC on Thursday, July 18, that garnered most of the attention and headlines, one of the most moving and beautiful speeches of the night came from Trump lawyer and legal spokeswoman Alina Habba, who shared her own feelings about the former president and a heartwarming story about him.

“I know you’re all used to hearing me shouting outside a courthouse, but tonight I want to take you behind the law and behind the headlines and share with you a side of President Trump that reveals his character, his kindness, and his commitment to saving this great country,” Habba said at one point, describing the general push of her speech.

She also noted how Trump stands up for those who have gone through horrible things and want to make a new, wonderful start in America. She said, “To my husband, whose family members have survived the Holocaust, he is a champion of the Jewish faith. To my Iraqi parents, he is a mentor to their daughter, but to me, he is my friend.”

Habba went on to say that Trump has, in her opinion, committed no crimes other than love this great country. She said, “Every attack on President Trump only strengthens our movement. The left’s madness is only a sign of desperation. Sham indictments and baseless allegations will not deter us because the only crime President Trump has committed is loving America.”

Speaking to Fox News Digital, Gabba also spoke about how she felt when she saw Trump enter the RNC with a bandage on his ear and the crowd roared with applause, saying that she was moved by the experience. She said, “Moved, I think, is the best word for it. I was moved.” She added, “I think America could see it’s a different President Trump today.”

Habba also spoke about how proud she is of Trump and what he stands for, saying that it is incredible that  Trump had to live through that awful experience. She said, “I never in my life thought I would live through that, let alone live through it and say, ‘That’s also my friend.’ And that’s been very difficult for me. It’s traumatic, but I’m proud of him.”
