Cardi B was rushed to the hospital and has been forced to cancel her upcoming appearance in Atlanta.
The famous singer broke the news to her fans on Instagram, Oct. 23.
“I am so sad to share this news, but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I wont be able to perform at ONE MusicFest,” she wrote in her brief statement. Cardi B didn’t provide any details about the ailments she is suffering from.
Cardi B was in a hospital bed in an explosive social media video that accused an unidentified prankster of claiming her kids were being abused. It’s unclear if her symptoms were underlying factors in her hospitalization.
“It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there,” the famous wrapper wrote in her statement.
She thanked her fans and left them with a promise to return to the stage as soon as she gets the all-clear on her health.
“Bardi Gang – thank you for understanding and I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry. Love yall,” she wrote,
The announcement of Cardi’s cancelation came just a few short days before ONE MusicFest was set to open their doors. She was the headlining act for the show and had been prominently advertised in the festival’s promotions. Festival organizers reposted her message and wished the star a speedy recovery. They noted they were doing their best to lock in a replacement act before the opening of their event, Saturday.

The famous rapper has not provided any more recent updates on her health and it remains unclear how long she will need to remain hospitalized.
